THE CHALLENGE: To continuously pump Cyanide Rinse water from sump to Cyanide rinse dump tank located 100’ from sump. If pump ever fails, the plating line must be shut down.
SYSTEM PARAMETERS:
- Silver Cyanide Rinse continuous overflow to sump in pit.
- (2) UDS-60A-8 Sethco Sump pumps in tandem
THE SOLUTION: Two UDS-60A-8 Sump pumps were installed in tandem. A third pump would always be on stock for quick change out if one of the two pumps failed. Only one pump would be operating at a time. Pumps would do equal time insuring that both pumps are in good working order.
THE RESULTS: After two decades of reliable performance with Sethco UD pumps, the customer no longer seeks competitive bids, trusting the proven track record of these pumps.
