PRODUCT: Fybroc 8500
THE CHALLENGE: Needed to replace 6 competitor vertical turbine pumps.
SYSTEM PARAMETERS:
- Feeds the entire aquarium with salt water.
- Need special design for the room they are located in (10’ ceiling).
- No room to work on the pump shafts.
THE SOLUTION: Fybroc engineering designed the shaft in 2 sections for ease of maintenance. Won the project for 6 VT 8500 8x15x11.
THE RESULTS: Replaced 6 competitor pumps due to repairs. Better performance and maintenance. Custom build to include the size limitations of the existing site. We have 75 Fybroc pumps at the Aquarium.
