PRODUCT: Fybroc 1600, Fybroc 1500
THE CHALLENGE: Average run time of about 8-10 years before the casings need to be replaced. Could be multiple factors causing this (Foundation erosion, Fluctuations in external temperatures, Salt buildup on pumps, Long periods of downtime, Possible solids from saltwater ponds).
SYSTEM PARAMETERS:
- Saltwater/Brine Disposal – Brine salinity fof 1.2SG.
- Have used Fybroc pumps since 1983.
THE SOLUTION: 11 Total Fybroc Pumps (9x 1600 pumps, 3x 1500 pumps)
THE RESULTS: The customer is very happy with runtime and performance of the Fybroc pumps. No plans to try to switch or test out other brands. Recently installed new flush plan 32. Looking at replacing the 1500 pumps with 1600 series at next failures. Will be updating older pads with a more stable foundation.
